Abby had always been a happy-go-lucky person. She loved spending time with her friends, going on long walks, and reading books. But lately, she had been feeling more and more tired and unmotivated. She didn't want to get out of bed in the morning, and she had no interest in the things she used to love. At first, she thought it was just a phase. She tried to push through it, forcing herself to go out and do things. But it only made her feel worse. She started to withdraw from her friends, making excuses not to hang out with them. She stopped going on walks and spent most of her time in bed, scrolling through social media such as Instagram reels. Her family noticed that something was off. They tried to talk to her, but she just brushed them off and said that she wasn’t sad but rather she just felt empty. As time went on her mood continued to decline. She started to have trouble sleeping and lost her appetite. She would cry for no reason and feel overwhelmed by even the smallest tasks. All of this happened right after her boyfriend had dumped her for someone else. She was sure that time will heal all wounds and that she will get better. This sadly was not the case as even talking to others made her feel like she was doing something wrong. She felt like nothing was going right in her life.
